Worked closely with the Marketing Director to understand how to support the sales team with an intelligent product assistant that is available to customers and prospects when a sales team member is not.
Summary
After several deep dives into the business, product, audience, and challenge, Seasons worked with the Marketing lead at CMI/NekSpine to define, train, and stand-up a ChatGPT-powered product assistant. The assistant's "job" is to be there to answer questions about the product and to guide the prospective buyer to the appropriate regional sales team member when they are interested in speaking with someone further.
Challenge
Generative AI as a business tool is still very new to a lot of organizations. The media shares numerous stories, on the daily, about "ai gone wrong" and security breaches, dulling the appetite for greenlighting GenAI projects.
Solutions
Seasons partnered with the CMI/NekSpine team to produce a proof-of-concept, engaging in a protracted training LLM training period that showcased a narrow amount of product-specific intelligence. The team also hosted a 60-min "Lunch & Learn" with people from around the CMI/NekSpine team bring everyone up-to-speed with GenAI, answering questions, and fielding requests in real-time to provide people with a degree of comfort using GenAI and building a product on it.
